Local Special Needs Dancers Audition for NBC’s America’s Got Talent Print E-mail

The I CAN! Dance class is gearing up for an audition for NBC’s America’s Got Talent TV show. The dance class for children with special needs plans to take part in the show’s initial audition process in Dallas, Texas, on Jan. 30-31. A garage sale on Jan. 15-16 in the Saline County community of East End will help fund the trip. In addition, for every dollar raised at the sale, the Bill and Sharon Arnold Family Foundation will match it.
Foundation Gives Grant for Revitalization of Crestview Park Print E-mail

The Arnold Family Foundation awarded the Park Hill Neighborhood Association a $2,500 grant for the revitalization of Crestview Park announced Curtis Arnold, the foundation’s executive director. The grant funds will be used to develop a park strategic plan, he said. “Our foundation has its roots in Park Hill and we are pleased to see progress in this underutilized resource,” Arnold said.

Utilizing contemporary drama, powerful multimedia, a beautifully choreographed original ballet by the Votum Dance Company of Dallas, Texas and accompanied by the Cornerstone PraiSingers choir,  “NATIVITY” is a musical and visual exploration of the real meaning of Christmas.
